Our Q-switched Laser’s are the world's most advanced laser tattoo removal system. Earlier methods of tattoo removal involved using acids, dermabrasion, or surgery. These procedures left scars or shadows in place of the tattoo. Your tattoo may completely disappear however some stubborn colors may not be completely removed. Most of the ink will be absorbed by your body. Your tattoo should be barely visible or not visible at all. Lasers are considered the gold standard for permanent tattoo removal today. Our Q-switched Laser’s diffuses the light pulses to give you the best results possible. Is the tattoo removal permanent? Yes. Although individual results will vary, what goes away does not return when the laser is used to remove a tattoo. How many treatments will I need? Many variables affect the number of treatments required. Ethnicity, skin tone, your age, how long you have had the tattoo, the tattoo location, and - most of all - the type and color of ink that was used on your tattoo. Did you know there are more than 100 different black inks used worldwide by tattoo artists? We offer a free initial consultation to help you understand these variables. Blue, black, and red tattoos - the easiest colors to remove - will generally require five to ten treatments for the ultimate results - although we have had good results with as few as two treatments. More difficult colors - yellow and green - may require nine to twelve treatments for optimum results. If we can see your skin and the ink you want removed, we can be more specific about the cost and number of treatments. How long will the treatments take? Tattoo removal is quicker than originally getting the tattoo. Most treatments require 30 minutes or less.
Why do people decide to have tattoos removed? There are as many good reasons to remove a tattoo as there were reasons to get one in the first place. Quite often, as people prepare for a change in their lives, they consider whether their tattoo reflects the person they have become. Many clients just don't like the tattoo any longer.
